  1. Sadly you were right. It did not run for the second time. Here are the crash reports. ef7a1c73-be43-4119-a7ad-567e84941bf7.dmpdf1e62db-7109-48fa-bdca-787677bea783.dmp
  2. Hi Guys! I have the same problem, and I'm afraid I'm not the only one. I use all 3 products and I think this is the first time they make me really frustrated. Even reading through this long thread was tiresome. I've just reinstalled Windows on my PC, running on Dell XPS 15 9550 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz 2.60 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.9 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor I updated everything I could except the Intel driver as it's not supported and I should make it manually (like @simono wrote). I'm not an IT guru and I really don't want to do mining in bits and bytes. I really, really hope there will be some bug fix for this problem because I'm terribly curious about the new features. In the meantime I don't want to make a brick from my machine. I also upload my crash report and the preferences xml and hope for the resolution. I only made this for Photo, but I think it's the same for Publisher and Designer. Thanks in advance for the help and relief! a3b4ffc0-0725-43ed-a68f-edb5eead9d6e.dmp PerformancePreferences.xml
  3. Hi! My vote on this too. I use this feature when working with scanned images. In Indesign I place the scanned drawing, then I'm able to set whatever color on my drawn lines.
  4. Hi guys! I bumped into the same problem. I wanted to cut out these small elements from the flower shape to make a ragged outline (subtract1). I tried selecting all elements and clicked subtract. Subtract0 shows the result. Changing this Fill mode thing does not solve anything. Using Divide seems okay, but still you need to delete the items you wanted to cut out. (I know, I can select them at once in the layers panel, but it's still one more step.) In Illustrator I select all objects and click "Minus front" (=subtract), so the whole operation is just one click. I hope, these kinds of features get better in time. Now I could solve the problem, but it's really time consuming to search for solutions - and it's probably the most frustrating factor. Of course, I'll be here waiting for developments. These Affinity software already have some lovely features!
  5. I totally agree. Designer should have the option to fill any shape with e.g. dots without the extra work of making dots. I hope the feature is coming soon.
  6. It's really weird! Of course I found the "Hide irrelevant" checkbox, but couldn't see the Positional section. I tried again, and now I can see different features in the Typography panel. And it's there!!! 😄 I already gave it up, but you made me second-check. Thanks Mike, you made my day! I love y'all! Augusztina
  7. Unfortunately there's no option for that. This fina feature does not show in the Typography panel. So it means, at the moment, I'm not able to use this font in Publisher, which is not so good. Anyway, the possibility to turn on and off stylistic sets and alternates is not a bad idea, but I still should be able to change each character as I wish. It works for other fonts, but I can't turn off these "terminal forms" for Hermann. I think, this should be fixed somehow. Thanks!
  8. Hi Guys! I have a different problem concerning opentype features. I'm using the font Hermann, that has all features you can dream of. My problem is that word-ending letters are automatically changed to swash alternates, see attachment. It never occurred in Indesign and it's a bit annoying. I really hope you can fix this. Thanks for your efforts!
