Questions re purchasing Affinity Photo

PhotoBill posted a topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)

I have been using the free trial version of Affinity Photo and I have decided to go ahead and purchase the software. Two questions: 1. Should I delete the trial version currently on my computer (Mac desktop) before purchasing the software? 2. Once I have it installed should I use it as a plug-in to Apple Photos or not? Thanks.
