Can’t Use Healing Brush
MBweb replied to Junkbondster's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on iPad Questions
The Apple pencil would not set the source for the Healing brush - only fingertouch worked for me. -
So far i have not located an en-DK.dic But being careful when planning the styles in a new document i managed to make both spellcheck and preflight to behave.

thanks again Walt - i'm getting closer now 👍 -
Thanks IanSG, i am sort of an affinity newbie and are unclear on the difference between da_DK and en_DK But i just created a new document and made sure all text items are confugured to dansk in spelling options. Then the error message disappeared, so maybe i did'nt even need to install the dictionary...

ah - got it. thanks for the clearup -
I simply cannot get a danish dictionary to work in Affinity Publisher on OSX 11.4 Big Sur. I have tried the following steps but continously get the error message: "Unsupported Languages: Document contains languages (en-DK) for which no dictionary is installed" Downloaded hunspell OXT da-DK from Github. renamed to .zip, and unzipped the files. copied da_DK.aff, da_DK.dic and hyph_da-DK to users/me/library/spelling/ restarted computer and Affinity Publisher - same error changed underscores to scores in the filenames - restarted AFP same error created a folder called da-DK in Spelling and copied the files to that - restarted AFP same error changed scores back to underscores in filenames in the folder - restarted AFP same error Does anybody have suggestions? in hope Morten

In the PDF export "More" dialog put a wing in "include hyperlinks" option - then they work in the PDF. -

Modifying shortcuts

Right, i also had to look twice, and i hope Afiinity devs would consider a short cut search field. -

Modifying shortcuts
MBweb replied to MBweb's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on Desktop Questions (macOS and Windows)
oh, as for the reason: if you are a professional illustrator with small hands and often switch between z for zoom and b for brush it ease the workflow considerably to use x for brush instead, as its right beside z. -

Thanks for getting back to me - i discovered that you actually can change it in preferences/keyboard shortcuts/photo/tools - but it only works if you remove conflicting instances of x as shortcut. It would be nice if there were a [search shortcut key] option, so you dont have to manually search all options.
