I can’t open a PSD file in Affinity designer

Dealing with same issue. Psd files grayed out and yes I have Fresco installed. Interestingly the very same psd files CAN be opened in Procreate (even with fresco). Please fix this ASAP. -

Any solution to this other than deleting all Adobe apps? Still unable to open PSD files (without smart objects) in the AD app. -

Ah, I see. But that still doesn’t solve the problem of being able to open regular PSD files that do not have smart objects in them. -

Hi! I seem to have the same issue, PSD files grayed out but I also do not have the option of “import psd smart objects where possible” option in the tools, see photo below. I have IOS 13.4.1 on my IPad Pro and the latest Affinity Designer update 1.8.3. Deleting Adobe apps is not an option for me right now, I still use Fresco and Draw for work.
