  1. Hello Garry I did as you said and ChrisB responded to my problem and now my programme is great again - thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction. Rod
  2. Hello Chris, I've been using the programme on and off over the day and the overall response time to various keyboard and mouse moves has been brilliant. Thank you so much for your help Chris I am most grateful. Rod
  3. Hello Chris, Apologies Chris, I couldn't get back to you yesterday. I appear to have two graphics cards, I went into system information>components>display, and found:)- Intel(R) HD530, driver version 27.20.100.8682 and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750, driver version 27.21.14.5671. The version before this update was running okay, I disabled OpenCL as you suggested Chris and it has really made a difference, the time lag has greatly improved. Rod
  4. Hello GarryP,  Sorry to bother you but I don't know how to inform a moderator of my problem regarding  slow responses on AF Photo, win10. Please could you point me in the right direction? I would be most grateful.

I’ve replied to your post giving the necessary information.
In these forums it’s generally best not to contact people directly unless they have asked you to do so.
Otherwise it is a bit like a stranger turning up at your front door.
Not a big problem in this case but worth keeping in mind.

  5. Thank you so much for replying. Yes, I only use the beta version and it is on windows 10, but I don't know how to inform the Moderators. Rod
  6. Hello everyone, I'm having some problems since the last BETA update, namely a considerable time lag between carrying out various operations ie:) switching between layers, using the move tool, the colour picker, the selection tool etc., on one occasion I thought the programme was about to crash. I wondered, is anyone having the same issues? I have plenty of RAM on the 'c' drive and I don't think there is anything untoward running in the background. I've rebooted a few times without success, I was wondering whether to uninstall/reinstall, your thoughts and advice would be very much appreciated. Regards Rod
  7. I was using Affinity Photo 1.8.3.643 - version 647 was downloading when there appeared to be a "glitch" on my computer and now A.Photo has reverted to version 1.8.3.641 is this okay or should the update have taken place (please be patient with me I am still a newbie) Thankyou.
  8. I'm having the same problem as tonyk11, namely the programme freezing when using mouse/pen tablet. I'm colourising a black and white image and I can't be absolutely certain just when it freezes. I am a total newbie to Affinity and sort of feeling my way along, any help would be really appreciated. Regards Rodbait
