I'm wondering why I didn't take a better picture at the time. I'll eventually get the original and replace it with a decent scan. This is a work in progress.

The node tool was there because I clicked on that messing around with it trying to figure out what was wrong then couldn't get completely rid of it. The final product looks very nice.

All I know is I moved around and back and it's working now. I wish there was a way to change the measurement on the distance from inches to picots.

Oh this is so weird. I moved the photo to the middle of the page and it worked. So then I moved it back in the corner where I wanted it and it still worked. Then I changed my one-inch run-around to something reasonable. There's a photo in the bottom left corner doing the same thing. Moving it to the center then back. Just being temperamental I suppose. Thanks for replying to me!

It's version 2 and I'm on on Windows 11. Let me get some screen shots. In this picture you can see I have the distance from text for the left set to 1 inch and parts of the text are touching the edge. I doesn't matter what I do to that number, the text doesn't shift like it should. And it's multiple cases, not just this photo box.

I just can't seem to get this to totally work. I'm working on documents that are lots of text and photos and I want the text to wrap around the photo. I click on the photo, click on "text wrap" then "show wrap setting"s in the text menu. I select "square" and then the "wrap to" option. All of that works great, the text wraps around the photo. But the text goes all the way up to the edge of the photo. I need a little gutter in between. When I change the numbers under "distance from text" nothing happens. I can have it at 0.1 inch or 1.0 inch, the type doesn't move. How do I get that to work?

I did double-check that I that checked. I closed and restarted the program and it seems to be working now. Probably should have done that first! I tried a two-page document, too, just to see if it was the sheer size but that didn't work. Thanks for replying!

Hi all. I have a 20-page document I'm trying to export as a pdf but it only exports the first page. I've tried whatever the default setting is and "digital, smaller size". Any suggestions?

It was probably just too old.

Maybe I couldn't get my CD to work nor maybe it wouldn't take my product key, I don't really remember. But I ended up having to buy a new program and that's what was on the Serif website. How many versions did PP have? I have X3.

The second choice is exactly what I want. Thank you very much! I just want to do what we would have done with border tape in the composing room. Just slap a black line on each edge. This is perfect. Thank you very much.

I used PagePlus for years and just loved it. It was so easy to use. I bought a new computer with windows10 and had to upgrade to Affinity Publisher and I just find it so frustrating. The easiest things seem so difficult. I tried seacrhing the forums to see if I could find an answer to my question and didn't come up with anything. I need to know how to put a simple black border around a photo. Or around a text box, I can always just put the text box behind the photo. Just a simple one-point rule to define the photo. In PP you just right-clicked on the photo and it was right there. I have clicked on everything and haven't found anything yet.

I just had to get a new computer and finally upgraded from PagePlus to Affinity. I have Windows 10 and have tried two different printers (Canon and Brother). When I try to print I just get a blank page. I've tired a few times and of course have the closed the program and started again with a new document. Any suggestions? On the bright side, I'm not wasting paper and ink trying to find out what the problem is. I'm printing from other programs with no problems. Does anyone have any suggestions?
