I know Affinity si working good on Windows as a desktop app, ok... Designer, Photo and Publisher are a very nice set of apps, thanks so much for that , and to bring comptitivity on this creative apps market, but... Why there is a so poor support of Surface devices ?
Why is it so hard to get that competitvity from software market to hardware market and recognise today that Surface devices are good for designers (and maybe today the best tools for) ?
Why using a pen with an eraser is just impossible on Affinity Designer on Windows ? And Why it is so hard to admit that a pen with an eraser is a lot better tool than one without eraser (as is Apple Pencil) ?
Ok, I know... We will have to wait that Apple Pencil to get its eraser, so, maybe we will get a fully functional support for that on windows Apps from Serif (or Adobe)... If it as to be a specific app, as it is for iPad ? Ok, I'm ready to buy it !
Don't panic, it's almost the same with Adobe Illustrator, even in tactile mode... Ok it works with a finger... And still a pain with a pen.
I only remember how nice it was to draw on Macromedia Flash with a pen on a Wacom Tablet, even Illustrator wasn't as good. I still search for the Killer-App that features vector drawing... And sorry, I'm a MS Surface enthousiast and not an Apple zealot, waiting for new idevice generation...
Ok I've found some support for pen and eraser on help files... Sorry !
But it still not easy to set pression and tilt... still searching... Can't find dynamics/pression settings for vector brush on Design Persona (only on Pixel Persona)...
PS : Your Local french translation is not very good in settings : Surface Dial is translated as "contrôleur radial" (radial controller), nobody will understand what it is... just use Dial
