Hello, When I select a layer and try to apply a mask or an adjustment from the layer's panel buttons for that layer, it creates a mask for all the layers bellow, not only for the select layer. I think it should create a mask for that specific layer selected (the parent layer). To do that I have to grab the new layer mask created and put, manually, under the selected layer. Is this normal? Am I missing some configuration?

Thanks studio97! I did that but the problem remained...what really resolve it for me was this: I´m working with a xp pen artist tablet but the settings are the same. It resolved all of my brushes problems. -

The problem is: Windows Ink! By reading other topics, the conclusion is that AP it´s not very Windows Ink friendly and that´s a shame because we need it to get the precious pen pressure sensibility... hope and waiting for this problem to be solved soon -

...I think i´m getting there: I´m working with a xp pen graphic tablet and (in despair) when i switched the AP window to my HP monitor the brushes start to work fine (whit the mouse); then, when I move the AP window again to my xp pen tablet and work with the mouse, it worked much better... the problem is in the pen, it seems so. now I turned off the windows ink from the xp pen settings, looks like it´s better (but not perfect).... I will keep digging (because I so into AP know) -

Thanks for you reply, firstdefence I can´t make them work in my AP - even with spacing at 200%. only when I reduce de size to about 50 px, I can get some "piece" in my work. I Think it´s not normal. I have the same problem with all photoshop brushes that I installed. It´s very annoying. Do you know if Is there a solution? (I´ve been reading the forum and there is so much exemples of this misbehavior along the years that I´m almost becoming desperate) my system: windows 10 hp workstation z420 - 32Gb NVidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti -

Hello, studio97 Can You tell me how you did it, please...I,m struggling with that same problem Thanks! -
Hello I just bought Affinity Photo and I'm having this same problem - is there a way to solve it? I've already changed the performance settings... I´m working in a HP 4420 workstation - 32Gb with a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050Ti, so I think it´s not a "power" problem Thanks
