If AD ever implemented the mosaic raster to vector feature shown in the AI video, I think it would be great if it automatically did this. I can't see any downside to it but if there is, it could be an option.

You'll see how effect this method is for converting Raster Pixel Art to Vector Pixel Art and I think it would be an amazing tool for Affinity Designer to have!
