  1. Ok I am not finding the font that I am looking for and it's been so long that I forgot the name of the font. I do remember that I have switch to a new computer since I made the logo. This leads me to another question. Is there a way to embed the fonts into the actual Affinity file? This way, I won't have to worry about losing my fonts again. I will know that if I switch programs, I will have all my fonts, color profiles, and whatever else in the actual Affinity file?
  2. OK that takes some getting use to...but that makes sense. I did not want the child layer behavior at all. What I wanted was the grouping behavior. The elements become child layers of a group layer. Ok I got this... I am looking into the font. It was a while ago since I made the logo. It will take me some time to find the font.
  3. I am switching from Inkscape. so this is very different for me. R C-R I watched the video, and I understand clipping now. However, how can I prevent clipping or masking? Does each element of my logo have to be on it's own layer? Why does grouping not cause clipping when some elements are child layers? Also, I have noticed that Affinity Designer is missing some font that inkscape has in it's selection. Is there a way to expand Designer's font library?
  4. Hello all, I am having trouble making a logo. I have elements of the logo disappearing every time I move the element into a child layer. What am I doing wrong? Also how do I get the same color wheel found in AD in AP
  5. I made myself a logo in Designer. Now I would like to crop the background area and make the background transparent. How do I go about doing this?
