I'm looking forward to the new releases. I remember the Affinity apps being released at the perfect time for me due to the changes to the Adobe licences. Looking at what has been written, the idea that you cannot interchange files between V2 and V1 must mean that there is something fundamental happening to the software that is way above adding additional functionality, but something that could not have been built on top of the existing software. To me that sounds like, not just a upgrade but new software entirely. Maybe a new concept? Looking at the video I would guess at 3D or animation. Ok. I know...9th November

Thanks for the reply Walt that clarifies things. Now if you could get the Affinity programmers to get 'scale with object' to work when deselected and Bevel/Emboss to include a bump map you would become my hero!

It would be nice to have copy, paste and clear layer style like that software that costs a fortune.

Hi, while working with text in Designer I created a style. Then while working with text using a different font and size I applied the style. To my surprise this added the style but changed the font and font size to the original style. Is there a setting I am missing as I extensively use styles in Photoshop because using 'scale with object' switched off does not work. Transfering the document to Photo together with the style, the style does not create the same changes. I love the Affinity products especially being able to try changes 'on the fly' but find little things frustrating. Can Serif get to version 2.0 so people have to re-purchase/upgrade the product so you can recruite extra staff to get rid of the niggles.
