PDF/X file exporting was just added to Vectorstyler today in the newest update to version 1.2. Might be worth looking into and providing feedback for improvement. Vectorstyler and Affinity Designer work well together; it's easy to copy and paste vectors between the two programs.

I paid about 20 euros for Pixelmator Pro and 45 euros for VectorStyler. Without a subscription, very powerful apps and you are not ignored by the developers.

I can no longer believe in significant improvements, so I've switched to Pixelmator Pro, Raw Power, VectorStyler and QuarkXPress. And on the iPad Pro Photomator, Amadine and Fresco without a subscription. All lifetime licenses and Fresco free

    These are my biggest fears.
Because I expect and would like development to move in such a direction that Affinity programs become truly professional tools equipped with mature and high-quality functions, which means, for example:
top-notch rendering library (no redraw issues, smooth zoom-in-out without flashing render tiles, no delays in rendering / updating thumbnails) professional object styles (dedicated dialog, ability to either clear and replace all object settings or replace only specific ones or save defaults) Split/ span columns  professional spread and page management (multi-page spreads, moving and page reorder) foolproof color managment and pdf export workflow comparable to a professional tool (without reinventing the wheel, where everything has been working optimally for many years) true vector brushes and patterns vector symmetry tools symbols libraries variable font support creating cutom glyph sets drag-n-drop to rearrange columns and rows in table tables across multiple page or inside text frames envelope distort (using selected object as a shape for the envelope) and more and more... Otherwise, I can't imagine how Affinity would compete with Adobe, which is what the owners of Canva declare.

And for God's sake, stop this type of marketing↓
With all my sympathy and respect for your programs, it has nothing to do with reality. What's more, such arrogant marketing, unsupported by quality, slowly becomes distasteful and discourages rather than encourages people to buy your products.
You can advertise your product in a more balanced way without treating your current and potential customers like mindless idiots.

The free Vectornator has become subscription only Curve. Even worse all documents are forced to be saved in their cloud. Since I had the feeling that I couldn't rely on Affinity anymore I considered Curve when it was still free. Now the program crashes when logging into the cloud and the support couldn't find a solution. Everything that wasn't exported before is gone. That can happen too.

To followup on some of my comments yesterday, we are today enshrining our commitment to the Affinity community in 4 pledges made by the Affinity and Canva teams.
You can read about them here.

We do truly believe the coming together of Affinity and Canva is only going to be a good thing for our customers, staff and the development of our apps. We very much hope you will all continue to be with us on this journey.
    All the best,
    Ash

My only wish would be that Affinity Designer for iPad get the functionality to draw and sketch using the Apple Pencil. It’s a shame that it is still not possible except fixed width brushes. I hope the guy responsible for that got fired.

I hope you and the developer team understand how annoying it is to be forced to sketch in Fresco, Procreate, Sketches or SketchBook and then permanently import layers to Affinity Designer to continue with vectors.

Then please make a "honest" review about the pixel brush blob bug. No, it is not far better. Can you ever imagine Photoshop with unusable brushes?

For new customers who doesn’t want to wait several years: The purchase of Affinity Designer for iPad from App Store might be still eligible for a refund. To request a refund from Apple users have to go to https://reportaproblem.apple.com and follow instructions.

Yes, that’s not a good result. I'm not sure that serif haven’t 'attempted' to fix it, but any improvement made has been minor. I agree it needs fixing, but the app does many things well, so I still don’t support throwing the baby out with the bath water. If I relied on the app to produce an income I might be inclined to use Vectornator and Procreate for that work, at least till serif fix this issue.

Just like that ... I wonder why some "unhappy" people are still on this forum....why they just don't quit and go somewhere else.... if they really don't like and use Affinity products anymore...

These are pixel only app as vectornator is a superior vector only app. But Serif try to sell Affinity Designer for iPad without usable pixel brushes, advertising:
With a single click, switch between full featured vector and raster workspaces. Just think about what that means… add raster brush texture to your illustrations, edit single pixels on icons, mask and add grain to your crisp vectors, enclose and clip pixel layers. This is true creative freedom and the possibilities are endless.
and blobs at every pixel brushstroke. Over two years now without any attempt to fix. Just think about what that means…
Maybe a script that detects and deletes the blobs?

That’s what I’m doing now. Vectornator, Fresco and Procreate.
I’m exited to see the new brush engine in Vectornator and the basic vector bezier tools in Adobe Fresco that will be released soon.
