I can no longer believe in significant improvements, so I've switched to Pixelmator Pro, Raw Power, VectorStyler and QuarkXPress. And on the iPad Pro Photomator, Amadine and Fresco without a subscription. All lifetime licenses and Fresco free

How long did it take for the pressure-sensitive blob bug on the iPad to be fixed? The pressure-sensitive pixel brushes were more or less unusable with the Apple Pencil 2 on the iPad Pro. An embarrassment for Serif. Their priority was marketing.

For those affected in any case. I've never made rash and hasty restructuring decisions, you have to be careful that it doesn't affect the wrong people. But without Hire & Fire, renewal is hardly possible.

Let's hope that this somewhat overhyped suite will change. After over a decade of slow and lazy development, maybe it's time to abandon the sinking ship before Canva sinks it completely. Unless the new owner is able to reform the development and easy going. Skilled people are in demand everywhere and don't have to worry about losing their jobs. The weather is also better in Australia, but not as nice as in California.

The free Vectornator has become subscription only Curve. Even worse all documents are forced to be saved in their cloud. Since I had the feeling that I couldn't rely on Affinity anymore I considered Curve when it was still free. Now the program crashes when logging into the cloud and the support couldn't find a solution. Everything that wasn't exported before is gone. That can happen too.

I reinstalled QuarkXPress last week on a new SSD and activated my perpetual licence without any problem.

Unfortunately, I have no confidence that Affinity Suite will not move to a subscription model. Why should I? At some point the validation servers for V2 are going to disappear. That's why I'm going to switch my workflow to the subscription-free professional VectorStyler, QuarkXpress and the innovative Pixelmator Pro. Much cheaper than Adobe without a subscription in the long run and much more professional than Affinity apps although a good value aimed to hobbyists until now.

Would there be a customer beta this year? Because of this bug I hesitate to buy Affinity apps despite the Black Friday deal.

Can the measurements and positions permanently be changed from pt to mm?

Still no rulers? Rulers and helplines are essential

The same issue. No problem in procreate but it .psd files are grayed out if adobe fresco is installed.
