On both Affinity Photo and Designer when I either create a new document with "Import From Photos" or I add a photo in a document with "Place from Photos" the page that cover to select the photo show my albums from Mac in totally random order. Not in alphabetical order (that would be useful but not great) or in date order (the best option, exactly like in the Photos App on iOS or Macintosh).
It make choosing a particular photo in the 100+ albums super difficult. Why not just show them in some order ? Like all Apps ? If I open a "competitor" like DarkRoom or PixelmatorPhotos the album are in alphabetical order. Not great but at least we can find something. Also there is no search in your screen, not that I would use that but I know some people that search photos by some criteria.
