  1. Dear Affinity team and @MEB I'm really sorry to insist, but I've reached a real sticking point... I reported this bug 3 months ago. This bug impacts Photo, Publisher and Designer and no one tells me if this bug is taken into account and/or gives me an ETA for a fix. I have bought (and use) 3 softwares that have a defect that prevents me from doing my job as it should be done. What am I supposed to do? Consider that this bug will never be solved and change my tools? Wait? Please, can you answer me on this bug?
  2. Hello @MEB! Sorry to bother you, do you have some news on this bug? Thanks
  3. Hello @MEB! Any news on this? Have you received my file?
  4. Hello @MEB! I've just sent the file. Hope it helps to understand what's going on...
  5. Helo @MEB! This file is coming, initially, from illustrator (from one of my colleague), then opened in Designer or Photo by me (minor adjustments, final layout, export as SVG with not rasterization, then archiving as .afphoto generally). The goal is to produce a SVG which will be included in a resource file for a software (that's why I don't rasterize). It's a process I carry out routinely and without the slightest problem usually. But that's the first time it contains a grayscale gradient mask. Don't hesitate if you have any other question...
  6. Wow! Thank you so much for that.. Can't wait for this to be fixed Thanks again.
  7. Hello @MEB! I have notifications (in my mailbox) about answers you made on this post, but I can't see it here. Am I missing something? (sorry I'm new on this forum, and don't know it works).
  8. Hello all! Here's a bug which is reproducible in Designer, Photo and and Publisher. When exporting as SVG, masks are not correctly exported. You can find a first analysis by @thomaso with sample files showing the issue here: My conf is iMac 27" 64Go / Core I7 4.2 / Catalina 10.15.4 It is reproducible too on a MBP 16" with similar config.
  9. Wow! Thank you so much for this analysis... As you confirm my first thoughts about a bug in exporter, I will post it in bugs forum.
  10. Hello @thomaso and thanks for your answer. In fact, I want the SVG looks like exactly like the .afphoto source If you look at the source (Logo.afphoto) you will see at the top of the big cube a sort of light beam which is done with curves and masks. It's perfectly ok in the .afphoto file. Nevertheless, when I export to SVG, some of these masks are strangely generated: they take all the image size. And it's why the image looks "overexposed"... This issue comes when I choose to not rasterize (your export is full rasterized). Unfortunately, rasterizing result file is not an option for me. It should be exported with the settings I attach to this answer. Sorry if I'm unclear, don't hesitate to tell me if it's the case
  11. Hello all! I'm currently facing an issue when exporting one file with some masks (grayscale gradients) as SVG. All these masks are rendered, in the resulting SVG, on the full image size (not only the curve it should apply to). The problem appears with Photo, Designer and Publisher. I've attached to this post the .afphoto version (source) and .svg file (export target). Could someone help me find out if I'm making a mistake, if it's a known limitation of the exporter or a bug? Thanks a lot for your help. Logo.afphoto SVG Result.svg
