  1. Thank you so much for your help @Hangman For now, I have managed to fix the footnotes as the client wants. Although there are some things I would like to fix and maybe @MikeTO manual will give me a big hand. Coming from the Adobe world there is not much difference, but we never stop learning. Thanks again. Grazie.
  2. Hi @Oufti I realized that changing the "Allow note division" checkbox in the footnote panel cleared the entire footnote style. Why? Is there any way to apply the style to all the notes at the same time? Thanks a lot.
  3. Many thanks @Hangman, To be fair, I only imported the text written in Pages and converted it to .docx. Before I started layout I wanted to understand the critical issues of the work and the first thing I noticed was the difficulty of the footnotes. Unfortunately, I have to rebuild the whole text style, partly because in importing the .docx file many of the settings generated on Pages were skipped. I'll give you the screenshot of the notes panel as you indicated. Being Italian, my Publisher is in the Italian language. I used the Custom settings in the footnotes panel because Document Wide is not active and I don't know why. Thank you for your attention.
  4. Thank you Hangman I took three blurred screenshots due to copyright issues on the part of the thesis author. If the photos do not help then I am waiting for the team to come to me. The first photo looks perfect except that on the left page, the line separating the text from the note is too far below the text. I set the footnotes from the reference panel. In the second photo, the text starts with a line underneath, but maybe I can manually fix the flow of the text. Unfortunately, toward the end of the page, the hole caused by the footnotes is created. I don't understand why it doesn't break the footnote to continue on the next page. On the third page is the most annoying result very demoralizing. I don't know how to continue.
  5. Hi Hangman, sorry but the author did not give me permission to disclose even a page of his thesis. If I can't solve the problem I have to go back to using Indesign and I just don't want to.
  6. Hello, I am experiencing a similar problem. I am trying to layout a dissertation with many footnotes. Unfortunately, the text is not smooth on the pages and based on the footnotes it creates holes in the pages. I am waiting for some help.
  7. Hello everyone. I am not sure if the topic is in the right section. If it is wrong I apologize. Is it possible to convert an indesign library with a .cclibs extension into a resource for Affinity? Thank you.
  8. As you said it was a problem of preference. I have found the solution. Thank you.
  9. Hi I have a small problem. On Affinity Publisher I realized that I no longer see the colored icons, whereas before they were as they are for the Affinity Photo & Designer software. See picture. Can someone help me?
