  1. As far as I have seen, even in the new V2 there is no real support for cross references yet.
I cannot test the trial version due to the high system requirements.

Can anyone confirm, that real cross reference support is still missing?

I don't understand, how dwg/dxf support, obviously for technical documents, got included, but not real full cross reference support ... I have been so patient and now again disappointed. Not rewarded for the patience :-((

Once a thread gets to 44 pages long most posts are unlikely to add anything hugely significant, yours for example. I think that users are being pragmatic that this feature is so popular that many would be willing to pay for it to be included in a future version. To that end they are hoping there would be some discount. It is just a bit of fun.

Honestly, I don't really understand what you want to say. Your post does not seem to carry any hugely significant meaning either. Which is fine in my case, but since you are staff, it for the first time starts to make me wonder how Serif staff is using their time... Should you not rather be programming or something to help to company and software move foreward?

If there is a chage to upgrade to v2, I hope there is a generous upgrade offer for those who have posted in this forum.

Hmm, I don’t think would be fair; some users here will get V2 for free 🤔🫣

Nothing that is written about hopes for upgrade offers here in these forums will ever change, not even so slightly influence, the pricing policy of Serif and what they decide about it. Wasted energy by creating such posts.

  4. I specifically searched for such a thread of appreciation, so that I can second that commendation and not clutter the forum with multiple such posts.

I just read the "Feedback for Affinity Publisher on Desktop" forum and while it is understandable that there are a lot of impatient voices (including mine), I think that 99 % of the folks there are very happy with your overall work and the path where it is going and really wish the best for Serif and your Affinity suite. No one wants to cause undue pressure at all which would only cause negative stress and thus be like throwing a spanner in the works. We are just like children wanting that candy that we see (or invision) behind the store window. Of course, it is logical that you cannot do everything at once. You guys are doing a great job! Please, be patient with our impatience and don't let it get you down. ;-) Keep up the good fight/work at your own pace. Thank you for this fine software suite and your work of staying in contact with us through the forums!!

    Best regards, S.
