Thank you, Pšenda, now it's clear! I edited RAW files: first cropping, then developing. Now I've reversed the order: develop first, then cut. This causes that the 16: 9 mode is retained.

Win 10 PRO Build 19043.1348, Affinity Photo 1.10.4.1198 Steps: - Start AP, Photo Persona is active - open file -> Foto appears , AP change to Develop Persona - Klick crop tool - crop area is unconstrained - Klick Straiten - rotate Foto horizontal with mouse action - Klick Mode Presets -> select 16:9 -> borders changes to 16:9 ratio - crop the image as desired -> Enter -> image is cut - Klick Develop button, AP change to Photo Persona -> photo editing tools appear - edit foto, save and close file. Foto disappears, Photo Persona remains active. - Open new File -> Foto appears , AP change to Develop Persona - Klick crop tool - crop area is unconstrained as previously I want to start with the last setting, here 16: 9

yes, I have Win10. crop tool always starts with unconstrained, never with the last ratio.

Where can you find differences in the software at Pšenda and others? The Software Staff?

See menu File -> Preferences -> Tools -> Move Tool Aspect Constrain: Constrain by default (or do not constrain by default or Automatic (based on selection)) has no effect on start behavior new Foto. It always starts with Unconstrained. Windows 10 Aff. Photo vers. 1.10.4.1198 Steps: 1. Load File 2. Klick crop tool 3. Select 16:9 4. Add Preset 5. enter new Name -> OK 6. Crop and Develop 7. Crop many digitized photos for playback on TV. Format 16: 9 instead of unrestricted desired as a default setting at start. what to do? Please help.
