  1. Ah, that found more than when I searched for just "skew", yes. Thanks. Transform the layer itself sounds like a plan, will test. Will try. (Will have to temporary move layer to separate file, maybe, but doable.)
  2. Ah, thanks, @firstdefence I mainly bought Publisher to support the devs, but I see it might be handy being able to import some InDesign files.
  3. A friend of mine mentioned he could just start Affinity Suite, and then select Photo, Designer and Publisher from within the same app/GUI. I assume that's not possible for me, as I have Designer and Photo via the Mac App Store and Publisher as standalone ... (?) (If I recall correctly from a FAQ or something a while back, I can't just switch to standalone licences for all apps.)
  4. I'm wanting to adjust some vector shapes, skewing them slightly. In Affinity Photo I'd use the Perspective tool, but I can't seem to find that in Designer. (Maybe it's me not seeing the forest for the trees?) I tried copying the object(s) to Photo, changing them and pasting it back in Designer, but then they had become bitmaps/been rasterized ... (This shapes are a bit too complicated for me to just move and adjust the points/curves.)
  5. Ah, this is great! Thanks for taking the time to explain so nicely! 😃 I think maybe I've also seen it, some months/years ago when I first bought the program. Would this be for saving my swatches colors(?): (I clicked the rightmost small striped button.)
  6. Hi! In Designer (on a Mac) I've been working with some web site elements, and I want the colors to match the stylesheet. I tried searching here and in the tutorials, but didn't seem to find an easy way to just input the RGB or RGBA values, it seems I have to use the the wheel or the picker. (Sorry if I missed it, feel free to point me to whatever URL/document/video I should have found.) Also, had some weird results using the color picker using an app like app like Color Box to show my colors, and the color picker in Designer to pick from that window, the end result is still slightly different colors. It would be nice if I could somehow just define my set of colors/swatches, preferebly by just inputting the RGB numbers in hex or decimals. Maybe I can, but just haven't figured it out yet? 🤔😃
  7. Thanks. Yes, I changed my illustration, combined objects to just curves, no erase blend, then it exports without issue. (The reason I discovered this was that SVG export left the background white instead of transparent, and the image scaled poorly.) 🙂
  8. Trying to export to SVG, an illustration with only curves and text, no bitmap elements. Something is triggering it to save the SVG as a file with some embedded bitmap, instead of as a vector ... Can it be blend modes or something? (Using Erase and Normal for the layers in use.) I've successfully exported as vector SVG before.
