Good afternoon. I have an opportunity to purchase an apple mac and as I am currently running Affinity Photo on windows will I have to purchase  another suite to run on the Mac.

Hi there, I was trying to open from the zip file but have found out that windows default app was set to open the files.

I have moved the open files to my external harddrive and set the default in windows 10 to open all photos  in affinity photo and it seems to have fixed the problem. I am going to take some random raw pictures and see if I can open them.

thank you for your reply, have now managed to get them open but I had to open them in windows first and then use open with. all a bit frustrating for a newby but suppose its a steep learning curve.

Hi Jeff, thank you for the swift reply, the file I am trying to open is from the samples in the affinity work book so as I can follow the projects. I down loaded them from the site given in the book. the jpeg files open fine but the raw files, which are the for the first tutorial just won't open any way I try.

hello, I am having trouble opening a raw file, it says it will open in developer persona but nothing happens when I drag and drop, if try to open developer it tells me to create a new pixel layer, can some one help me and tell me where I am going wrong, thank you very much, Brian.
