Hi, I say 'same issue' because there are ongoing issues with gray being added to images. In this case, it's a gray background to a PNG that is transparent. Here are a couple PNG versions that I've tried. I've been trying different settings, but nothing seems to render the image with the transparent background. WWhen I began this thread, th4e issue was that the entire image was changing color... and moving toward gray. Many thanks for your help!

Thanks for trying to help, i continue to have the same issue, even with the sRGB color profile selected. Here's another example of the issue. This file is set up with a transparent background. "Transparent Background" is selected when I save as a PNG. Regardless of whether it is saved as an 8 bit, 16 bit, or 32 bit PNG... the resulting PNG image has a light gray background #FDFDFD. This is incredibly frustrating! Why is Designer adding a background to a transparent PNG??

Hi, I'm using Affinity Designer on a Macbook Pro and using the most recent version of desiger (1.10.5). When I export images, since installing the latest version months ago, my images are changing color and becoming drab when exported as jpg or png files. The attached files show the image in AF and after exporting. The white background in this logo is #FFFFFF from swatches. How can this be fixed? This did not happen until I upgraded to the latest version. Previous versions of AF were fine.

I've got the most recent Affinity Designer desktop version, and this problem was happening with the last version as well on my Macbook Pro running OS Mojave. There are 3 problematic behaviors that are making it impossible for me to use Affinity. 1) When I try to select any font other than Arial, the selected font displays for a few seconds and then the font turns back to Arial. This happens whether I have the type highlighted and using the type tool, AND when the text box is selected using the arrow tool. 2) When I try to select a font other than Arial, the dropdown menu of fonts in the Character panel closes immediately, so it's impossible to scroll to select the font I need. 3) If I manage to select a font by typing in the font name in the Character panel, the font displays at first, but if I resize the text box, it reverts to Arial. I have Adobe Fonts and many of them are active. But I cannot use them in Affinity due to the issues described above.
