Double Entendre

I am gradually learning Affinity Designer but would like to add succeeding Artboards to the the main one, so that on saving the original, the succeeding ones are also saved, being of the same Topic. Just as one was able to do so with Serif Draw Plus 8 which one is slowly moving away from. Is this possible please? May I say, thank you in advance.

I am Learning Affinity Windows and Cannot seem to access the Layers Panel, can you ponit me in the right direction please
