Since you can name artboards however you like, how would you want to arrange them then?
    Alphabetically?
And then? From top to bottom? From left to right?

I understand your point, but it should be no problem adding an "order number" to each artboard.
Top to bottom, left to right; I guess you have come a long way if you just sort them. Anyway, vertical/horisontal sorting could be added as an option. Even grid sorting (for example: max 4 artboards wide before adding a new horizontal line of artboards)

  2. I'm normally using multiple Artboards when designing brand identities. Each Artboard for each part of the identity.

Sometimes, at a later stage, brand identities are expanded. In those cases Artboard 10 would sometimes fit best as Artboard 2.

Moving and reorganise the Artboards can be done by moving one by one, but it takes time. It would have been much better to be able to reorganised the Artboards by just changing the numbers for Affinity to rearrange them automatically.

As far as I understand it's not possible; then this is a feature request.
Otherwise I would be happy to learn a way.

  3. Hi,
    I get som strange colour behaviour when I copy an object with a colour layer to a new artboard;
the colour layer stay on part of the artboard, depending on how I move the object.

See enclosed image and screen recording (the Screen recording didn't properly record the sidebar; at the end I was hiding each layer).

Is it a bug or do I do something wrong?

By default the Perspective and Mesh Warp are kept under the same fly-out from the toolbar

I have a similar issue; the Perspective/Mesh tool is not available in the toolbar (neither as an selection/option under customized tools). Any idea where I may find it?

(Unfortunately Affinity help is not directing you to where the different tools are located...)

    Hi @cje,

Can you please expand on this for us? Are you referring to a 'stroke style' etc applied to your text, or perhaps one of the FX options?

The more information you can provide here, the easier it will be for us to assist :)

    Hi Dan,

thank you for your reply. I'm referring to the Studio -> Effects which I've applied to a text.
I know I'm able to make text to curves, but that's not always what I want.

  6. I'm still quite new to Affinity and learn to use it on new projects.

When exporting a quite light project (3 page in designer, 4 Mb affinity file) to pdf (flatten/no layers/300dpi,70% compression) it uses very long time rendering and make a 10 Mb pdf file.

First, using that long time for rendering was quite unusual to me (I'm running Affinity on a i7, 32 Gb Ram ThinkPad, Win10pro), and the file turned out too heavy. Is this an know issue or do I just need to fin tune the export more?

Update: removing ICC profile and layers made the trick.

Hm. Are you sure that those have been made with a plugin? If so, which one? As there's a small chance that it might work with Affinity Photo.

Edit: I still think, it's rather a mockup which was used. Something like this. Unless there are functions used which aren't supported by AP (like warping), they might work in AP, too.

    Could be a "graphic converter".
I searched for some yesterday and left a few messages, so I'll see if I find something which fits my need.

Thanks for the extra information; that makes it much clearer.
Might be a tricky one this, and the techniques needed will probably depend on how real you want it to look.
I had a quick try with the ‘outline’ (sorry, I don’t know the proper nomenclature) and didn’t come up with anything anywhere near good enough – see attached image.
I think you will need an expert to look at this – one of them might already have something like it.

    Thank you for your suggestion.
