Pop-Up window for modifying adjustment layers not popping up.
WGD replied to WGD's topic in V2 Bugs found on iPad
Thank you. I tried it uncollapsed as well and it still wasn’t popping up for me as well. I’m thinking it might be a bug. -
I have two book formatting files. One with large images, both linked and embedded, and one with smaller images both linked and embedded. When I go to export the file with the larger images, the file is under 50MB, but when I go to export the one with larger sized images, it is over 200MB. Please help, as I'm losing my mind trying to get the large file size down. Both have the same export settings (I've attached a screenshot of both files w estimated file size). Any insight on what I could do to reduce the file size without affecting the quality of the images would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

How to invert layer in Photo on the iPad?
WGD replied to donka's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on iPad Questions
I don’t have the three dots on my version. I’m trying to invert a mask but it’s not letting me with long press either. Is there a way to do this? -
How to Distort/Free Transform an image?
WGD replied to paulory's topic in Pre-V2 Archive of Affinity on iPad Questions
I ran into the same issue. Perspective/Warp works great on the desktop version but is a little lacking in the iPad version. The closest I could find is going up to the liquify profile but the problem with this is I that all selections offered for transforming do not create a unified aspect. So it will pinch and distort but not the entire side of an object, just the area directly surrounding the ‘cursor’ or your pencil. Still, it’s better than nothing I guess. I ended up just moving over to the desktop for this. Good luck! -
Thank you. The file is for print but Amazon uses it for the cover and back cover images. I've attached a screenshot of the specs for the flattened cover. I will try flattening only the background and see if that helps but the text does include effects. I would think most covers include some sort of effects.

I have a finalized book cover designed in both Designer and Photo. I needed to export it to PDF in order to upload to Amazon, but no matter what selections in the export process, it came out looking pixelated on Amazon's website. I've flattened the image; Viewed at 100% zoom; Viewed in Pixel format view; Exported without Jpeg compression or rasterization; Final PDF is less than 10 mb even though original affinity file is over 300 mb; The file still looks pixelated when uploaded to Amazon. Finally decided to export as PSD (PSD file 10 mb) and exported without compression there. PERFECT. The cover looks perfect. No pixelation and is 42 mb. I really want to move to Affinity and drop the Adobe subscription, so PLEASE... can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? Attaching pictures of my export process.

Dragging the file straight into my styles pane worked. Thanks for sharing!

I designed a book cover in affinity designer using vector and pixel based images. When I export to PDF (regardless of which option I choose) it pixelates the vector image (author logo - bottom left) within the cover and the resolution is bad despite it being set at 300 DPI, no compression and no raster. Please help.
