    Hi Kamel.E,
    Welcome to Affinity Forums
There's no need to create rectangles or additional artboards for this. Just make sure you set the fill colour of the existing artboards to white then in the JPG or PNG Export dialog click the More button and select the colour you want for the background in the Matte option. If you need an area little bit larger that the one occupied by all artboards, use the Export Persona, draw a slice the size you need with the Slice Tool, set the Matte colour in the Export panel (above the Slices panel by default) and export the slice.

Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums.
There's no option for that, as far as I know.
What you can do is the following:
Give each of your current artboards a white Fill. (Note: they will appear white by default; you actually need to give them a Fill. You can do that by selecting the artboard in the Layers panel, then selecting the Move Tool. The Context Toolbar will have a Fill color well that you can use to assign the color. Then, draw a new artboard with the Artboard Tool. It should surround all the other artboards. Move this artboard to the bottom of the layer stack, and give it the gray fill that you want. Here's an example: temp5.afdesign
