  1. Oh, dear lord. Yes, that was it. I've been dragging it to the applications folder outside that window on my computer instead of inside that window. Blond moment. Worked perfectly. Color me stupid. Thank you!
  2. Hey There, I purchased the Publisher app off of the Serif website back in July of 2019 and it has yet to properly install in my Applications folder on my iMac. I drag and drop the App into my Applications folder, but it only creates an alias. So, each time I open the alias, it has to reinstall. Is there another way to "install" the app so it's actually on my hard drive? For the record, I have been a long-time computer user and have never seen this happen before with a purchased application. So, it's odd to me too. I can USE the app off of the alias, but I always have to keep the .dmg file open in order to continue to use it each time I open it. If that makes sense. Thank you, Heidi
  3. I apologize for posting in the wrong forum. I'll go elsewhere. I TOO am highly confused as to why when I drag the app to my Applications folder it is only producing an alias. I have never seen this before in all my 40+ years of computer usage. I believe I purchased the app directly off the Serif web site. I can USE the app, but it's always from an alias and I always have to keep the .dmg file open. Thanks anyway. Sorry about the forum mistake. Heidi
