[Unwanted switching between windows and odd shape colour behaviour]

Yes, in both Photos and Publisher I was working in separated mode. Merging the windows will work for the time being.

[Unwanted switching between windows and odd shape colour behaviour]

I am seeing something similar in both Photos and Publisher when I have two documents open. In the current instance I am trying to edit text in Photos document and as soon as I have typed one letter it switches to the other document, which is open on my other monitor. Publisher was doing something similar, I just don't remember the exact edit I was doing. I am on Mac, using the latest public updates (not Beta) of both programs.
