Publisher V2 login not working when the app starts

Hi Emanuele a, Please navigate to the following path depending on the version of the app you are using. If you are unsure its likely you are using the default MSIX version. Affinity Store (EXE, MSI): %APPDATA%\Affinity\Common\2.0\ Affinity Store (MSIX): %USERPROFILE%\.affinity\Common\2.0\ In the 2.0 folder you should see a licence.dat and/or cs.dat file(s) please delete these and then try activating the app. Thanks C- 10 replies

Acrobat reader crashes when clicking hyperlink

Hi Mraw, Is there a reason you are using such an old version of Publisher? The latest V1 version number is 1.10.6 We haven't had any other reports of this and a quick test here seems to be working fine its likely this is an issue with Acrobat reader etc does it work okay in other apps? Thanks C -
Hi Greg the lasso tool works with pixels so its only available in the Pixel Persona of Designer. In Publisher you just need to switch to the Photo persona and then hold left click on the Rectangular Selection Marquee to make the flyout menu appear then select the Free Hand Selection Tool.

Its possible the Windows store version was causing this. We typically see crashing when loading the canvas where there is an issue with your GPU driver or .NET installations. If the Affinity store version of the app is working fine then you should just be able to continue using it without issue however if this issue occurs again I would try reinstalling the latest version of the .NET framework and your GPU driver.

Repair Corrupt Designer File

Hi Josh, Unfortunately this file was past the scope of what I can recover however I have passed it on to our developers to see if there's anything they can do. They are unfortunately very busy so if this file is time sensitive I would recommend recreating it. Thanks C -

Just to rule it out have you tried reinstalling your tablet drivers at all? Does this only occur with your tablet connected or does it also happen when using the mouse etc.

Hi Omake, I've not known the print dialogue to lag in the way you are describing before it might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling your printer just to see if this solves any of your issues. If this doesn't solve your issues especially with applying the print pre-set please could you provide a screen recording demonstrating the problems?

Hi Kat, I believe this option is just greyed out to show that this is a category that can be expanded. Expanding the options until you reach the Affinity Support & Questions section should allow you to select either the iPad or desktop subforum and make a post. Thanks C -
