[How does one get Text styles window to work?]

Its likely docked to the UI along the right side of the app. If possible could you ensure its toggled on under Window > Text Styles and then send me a screenshot of the entire apps UI?

[Affinity designer2 Beta on Ipad cannot be opened with designer2]

Hi Mirela,

Files from newer beta versions are not backwards compatible. This is why we don't recommend using the beta builds for any commercial work etc. When opening an older file in the beta you should see a message warning you of this however you wont receive this warning if you are creating a new file within the beta.

This appears to have been a bug in V1 that may have been fixed in V2 however I have logged a request with our developers for a modifier key to be added which replicates the V1 behaviour when adjusting the node handles.

Please could you try tapping the splash screen shown in your screenshot to see if the reset menu appears? If it does please could you hit select all and then clear to reset the app to defaults? This should hopefully solve this issue for you.

In regards to converting the PDF what is it you are trying to convert sorry? If you are referring to your previous question of combing two master pages the easiest way to do this would be copying the contents of one master page to the other.

If you are using Windows this typically occurs when one of the apps is the MSI version while the others are MSIX versions or vice versa. Please ensure all of the Affinity apps you have installed are using the same installer type.

My apologies for the delayed response to this, this issue is being caused by the live filter in your document and appears to be a bug which I have logged with our developers to be fixed. In the meantime you could rasterise the live filter prior to exporting to avoid this issue.

[Text bounding box problem]

The only way to create text with a background fill in Photo is using the method Hangman mentioned above or by pasting text that already has a background fill applied to it into your textbox. You can go to Edit > Defaults > Revert to remove this background
