  1. Hi MikeWoz,

If you open a blank document then go to File > Place and select the 4 images you would like to use it will bring them all into your document on separate Layers. You can then use the Move Tool [V] and the Transform tab towards the bottom right of the app to position and resize the images into 4 quadrants.  I would advise leaving a gap between all of the photos so that you can fill the background to make them look separated I have included an example of this below :)

    Hope this helps

  2. Hi Morten.sorensen

    Welcome to the Forums :)

To achieve an effect similar to the one in Apple Keynote you need to use the Outer Shadow effect from the Effects tab and then use the Offset Tool to move the shadow below the object. My example below is quite rough but if you play around with it for a while you should be able to create something very similar to Keynote.

    Hope this helps!

  3. Hi Jackamus,

There a few reasons as to why your .PNG file could show as an Embedded Document. This usually happens when you go to File > Place and then place an image into your document I would be able to tell for sure If you could provide the project file in question. As for why you can't group your layers I'm not too sure based on the information that you have given if possible could you attach your file to this post for me to look into further? :)

  4. Hi Mmillecamps,

The first set of effects should open in Affinity as they are in PSD form however you may find that smart objects and certain effects have been rasterised. The second set of effects unfortunately wont work in Affinity as they rely on the Photoshop Actions feature to work. We are planning on adding Actions to Affinity Photo in the future but we don't have an ETA yet sorry! The third set should work fine with Affinity Photo you can import Brushes by clicking the downwards arrow next to the Brushes tab and then going to Import Brushes :)

    Thanks

    C
