  1. Hi Zoli642, I have tried this with a copy of Photo Mechanic here and it is working fine for me. Please could you go into a little more detail as to the exact issue you are experiencing? C
  2. Hi Varad, Welcome to the Forums! To Zoom in on a selected area hold the ALT key and then scroll upwards on the Mouse Wheel. Once your selection has been made as long as the Layer is unlocked you should me able to move the selection by clicking and dragging it with the Move Tool [V]. Thanks C
  3. Hi Newbie2, When you go to make your third selection please can you make sure you have the correct Layer selected from the Layers tab? C
  4. Hi SGould, Welcome to the Forums! Please could you make sure that the Layer you are using isn't locked in your Layers tab at the righthand side of the program. Clicking the padlock icon should unlock your layer :) Hope this helps C

  8. Hi Brabant, Welcome to the Forums! I can confirm that they are both supported by Affinity Photo! If you would like to view a full list of our supported RAW formats please see below :) https://forum.affinity.serif.com/index.php?/topic/4630-supported-develop-raw-cameras/ Hope this helps C
  9. Hi MikeWoz, If you open a blank document then go to File > Place and select the 4 images you would like to use it will bring them all into your document on separate Layers. You can then use the Move Tool [V] and the Transform tab towards the bottom right of the app to position and resize the images into 4 quadrants. I would advise leaving a gap between all of the photos so that you can fill the background to make them look separated I have included an example of this below :) Hope this helps C
  10. Hi Morten, Using the offset tool with the Outer shadow should allow you to position the shadow below the object without it peeking out of the sides or top :) C
  11. Hi Morten.sorensen Welcome to the Forums :) To achieve an effect similar to the one in Apple Keynote you need to use the Outer Shadow effect from the Effects tab and then use the Offset Tool to move the shadow below the object. My example below is quite rough but if you play around with it for a while you should be able to create something very similar to Keynote. Hope this helps! C
  12. Hi Jackamus, There a few reasons as to why your .PNG file could show as an Embedded Document. This usually happens when you go to File > Place and then place an image into your document I would be able to tell for sure If you could provide the project file in question. As for why you can't group your layers I'm not too sure based on the information that you have given if possible could you attach your file to this post for me to look into further? :) C
  13. Hi Jackamus, Affinity is completely separate to the plus range while it will share features with DrawPlus it wont be compatible with DrawPlus files or have every feature that was in DrawPlus. C
  14. Hi Mmillecamps, The first set of effects should open in Affinity as they are in PSD form however you may find that smart objects and certain effects have been rasterised. The second set of effects unfortunately wont work in Affinity as they rely on the Photoshop Actions feature to work. We are planning on adding Actions to Affinity Photo in the future but we don't have an ETA yet sorry! The third set should work fine with Affinity Photo you can import Brushes by clicking the downwards arrow next to the Brushes tab and then going to Import Brushes :) Thanks C
  15. Hi Jacqpom, Welcome to the Forums :) I am sorry to hear you have been having trouble with an exported PDF file it should have worked fine.
