You guys DO realize the pent-up demand for this product port, don’t you? COVID can’t be the source of every deliverable delay. At least satisfy your users with an delivery update. A sample screen. A video of a portion of the UI in action. I, like many, have been faithful customers for - now - YEARS. I’ve bought every one of your suite on 2 PLATFORMS. After 2 decades of Adobe products use, I walked walkway from them to join Serif and it’s drum beat. And there (obviously) are many, many like me. Show your loyal market your intentions. You owe them at least that much.

Just wanted to bump this topic to say there's still interest in Publisher on iPad
Yes, I can open publisher files in AfPhoto, but it saves the files differently and everything is out of place when I re-open them in Publisher on desktop. Please hurry on that overdue iPad version!
Sincerely,
A committed Affinity evangelist

The technology behind the M1 chip is the same technology behind iPad chips from the last 4 years. We already supported metal on iPad which were in some respects faster than Macs. When Apple put M1 chips in Mac's we already had the metal code written for the iPad version so adapting that code for M1 Macs did not detract from ongoing work on Publisher for iPad.
Sorry there is not more to say on this at the moment.

@Josegt80 and all readers of this thead
There's no technical problems with ARM, there is simply a lot of functionality, tools and UI to write for Publisher iPad and some back end work in relation to managing large documents with many linked or embedded images. Progress is good and nothing should be insoluble.
It was disappointing to many here that we did not manage to have a 2020 release for Publisher on iPad, but I will leave it to the company leaders to make the announcements of what is happening next.
