Check out the graphic below - RGB have all been set to 255, yet the colour produced is a light cream... not white which it should be. It that a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Just simple cropping of an image seems to elude me. Please help.... (I love Affinity.) If I click on the crop tool is sets me up to crop the canvas, and wherever I look I can't find an option to crop an image within my canvas. I I select the image, I can't see how to crop it. The help says select the crop tool and then in the context tool bar select your needs... but there is no selection there for an image cripping. Please, help. What should I do? Thank you.
