  1. By the way!! The drawing display I got is a Huion Kamvas Pro 16… everything is up to date… it's laggy, and also the display error that occurred (video) I thought was my kamvas being faulty! Then it happened on my screen... It's slow on my PC too, It's a Ryzen 5600 with 32 gigs of ram and 2 Zotac 1080 ti Amp extreme... SLI or not it's slow... The PC is not top-of-the-line, but I think is good enough to handle designer and photos...
  2. Same... on my PC and laptop... the laptop is a i7 10th gen... in Affinity Designer too and if the brush is big, the screen comes black from the bottom of the brush, like some kind of glitch... if you move the pen around the black part fallows the brush. I REALLY REALLY want those apps to work! I bought AP and AD v1 to stop using adobe, jump to V2 day 1... bought brushes to move from Pen Tool Sai for my illustrations... but looks like they need more time to improve the apps...
  3. well... I'm using illustrator since Illustrator 5... not CS5!! Illustrator 5!!! About layers... Layers must be one of my most used part of Illustrator. If you do a loot of illustrations, layers is a must!, I know you can lock part of your artwork, but moving part of your design to a different layer, locking the layers you don't want to touch, and then locking and unlocking parts of the design you are working on in a different layer gives you a really powerful workflow. Layers can be used as different pages too, I know in Designer you can create pages now, but compared to illustrator is a little bit messy right now. I prefer to handle this with layers (in Designer) and I even found a script for illustrator that you can export every layer as a PNG, if you work with After Effect or any other animation software and you need your design in parts, this makes things really easy!!
  4. It is true linux have a smaller user base in the creative side of things... But! Maybe the reason is the lack of options... There is not adobe or corel software... Blackmagic release Davinci, and is a great alternative to Premiere and After Effects! Blender start on Linux, and is better in Linux! And thanks to 2.8 is getting a loot of track... But I'm on windows just because I need to replace photoshop and illustrator. I've tested all the options... But as a artist, inkscape and gimp are just not my cup of tea... Maybe you can start something great on linux! But until adobe or you decide to bring software to linux, non of us will know...
