I set a preset for an adjustment but I don't see it anywhere where is it I want to use it to match up with another layer.

Where is the transparent tool in Photo?

Thanks I did not look under Menu>Layers>convert to curves I was used to "convert to curves" in the context bar as with the rectangle tool. When I did not see it there I just assumed it could not be done. Live and learn or die ignorant.

Once you type a phrase using photo's artistic text is there a way to separate the letters? Individual letters? Thank you.

When does Photo get text on a path(curve)?

It would be nice if you could rename images like resize for thumbnails and amend Thumb at the end of the file name or other things, anyway rename batch file names is my suggestion.

This has to do with Affinity Photo Mac? Is it possible to go into: raster_brushes.propcol & vector_brushes.propcol. located in: /Users/_YOUR_USERNAME_/Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitydesigner/Data/Library/Application Support/user/ . Then create folders to consolidate brush categories in Photo? Would they then show up in Photo as new categories? Over writing the old? Thanks

I know I can click on a brush and move it to a selected category but this will take too long going one brush at a time. Is there some other way of doing this? I hope so. Thanks

Too All I fixed my large file took about an hour but now everything is working properly. Thanks for all the help. Problem Solved!

@Meb: There is a problem with this I have a large file that has very many layers (grouped) and layers within layers that were made in Designer that I now want in Photo. This would be very difficult (confusing) to drag out and regroup each one. So It will work in Photo. Any ideas on this problem.

I thought of this and changed all embedded layers to pixel, same result. I also made sure nothing in the grouped layer was selected.same result. Thanks.

That is what I used it changes the layer from Light blur to the half thin blue line.?? If someone can look at the file I send it along. Layer trouble.afphoto

No after hitting the escape key there is still a fine blue line under the templates Layer, also stays there if I select Select from the menu bar and deselect all. Still have a thin blue line under the Templates layer.

Photo does not seem to understand this or ... I don't.

Sorry I should have said I was using Photo on a MacBook Pro Retina, Mid 2012 15 in. OS X 10.11.6, I select the layer. I select the add pixel layer. It goes into the Templates folder I don’t want it there I want it at the top of the layers. This happens selected or not!

I searched for add layer, new layer and layer new and found no answer. When I add a new pixel layer I want it at the top of the layer list! I don't want it to go into the layer group that is already there. I want it as a separate layer at the top how do I do it?
