T V reacted to h_d in Live Luminosity Range Mask Saved Presets ( How do I delete? )
Works for me on macOS Ventura:
\\
This is after creating the preset, then quitting and restarting Affinity Photo 2.
To answer the OP's other question, I don't believe there is any way of organising these presets.

Yep, same for me, it's impossible to delete a preset after the program has been closed
Luckily I only have the test preset that I made
If you look in
%UserProfile%\.affinity\Common\2.0\user
you'll see livemask_presets.propcol where the presets are stored, delete that and it's back to normal
Otherwise you'll need to wait for an update or if you're on a mac I have no idea

T V got a reaction from Old Bruce in Macros editing
As far as I understand, after writing hundreds of if not thousands of macros, is that it is still a process that is driven by keystrokes. When creating macros the order of actions as well as, hidden actions that are recorded as unseen function within the recording. It is very hard to create a perfect keystroke macro. Undoubtedly, we all make mistakes typing and then deleting which are all recorded in the process whether you can see it or not, make the macro less than streamlined. This would create problems in an editor since the unseen actions could trip up the flow that it was originally following. Creating subroutines in macros can help to solve some of those problems. Not only that, but, the macros can function much faster because they tend to be smaller and generally cleaner than a really long macro...I have created macros with over 400 commands much of which had many repetitive processes. Not fun to try to redo, but, hey, that's what learning is for...The other reason that I can see why this has not been radically altered is that there is already a lot of great macros available for free that still function perfectly and nobody, including myself, wants to rewrite all of them. When they are complicated, I write them out by hand on paper and then follow the flow until I get the rhythm just right, or not, depends on the user. - TV

Here is a greyscale noise(100%) palette I created while working on some metallic surfaces. This is a vector - texture palette that doubles as a pixel greyscale palette (duel use). Enjoy, - T V

T V reacted to Mr. Doodlezz in Diamond Gradient Macro(s)
Oh wow, thanks for the macro @T V!
And the video is a great reminder of the (slightly hidden) Duplicate Linked option – I had
completely neglected it until now and am just seeing whole new possibilities for workflows! 😲
Thanks for sharing and happy new year! 🎉

T V got a reaction from RNKLN in Color Grade ( Mean ) Stack Macro(s)
Yes, the new version produces a complete group thru the merge visible command. It can be applied from any layer and does not rely on any locked layers since the commands are all stacked and do not use select all layers command as was used in the first. That version needed to be placed on the image layer as locked. It all does make a huge difference. Using the merge visible command grabs everything that is visible and makes its own copy so that could influence your results as well. This is the process sometimes of working out the "bugs" not that the first version was faulty. It is just how it will be used...ie, an image layer even locked does not have the same color information that a .jpg image has and may not be able to work with a specific macro. Some of these stacks are getting a little complicated in a good way!

Actually, when initially the macro didn't produce the expected results I thought it was due to layers being locked (I opened an existing image rather than placing it in a new document, so it became locked automatically). Then I started taking the other approach which caused what I shared with you.
Later, I followed your advice of both locking and re-starting AP. It looks like that made the macro work (of course I don't know if re-starting had an effect or that it is the locking of the layer).
Anyway, I now tried to see how the macro worked in case I open an image (rather than placing) and it produces slightly different results. I've included them.
Anyway, I appreciate you sharing your macro and even more spending additional time trouble shooting. Don't bother too much since there's always the instructions in the video.

Thanks for creating and sharing the macro (although I'm not sure it does what I had expected it to do, namely no effect on the original image after execution of the macro - but, it could be that you have to rasterise and select the original layer first)!
