  1. Good Morning, I'm using Nik Collection 2.5 with Affinity Photo on Catalina OSX I have followed the installation instruction and I can run them from AP without problem What happens, sometimes, is that after running a plugin (in example Viveza) and I click OK to commit changes to back in Affinity Photo it crashes This is the crash message that I get everytime: Process: Affinity Photo [2710] Path: /Applications/Affinity Photo.app/Contents/MacOS/Affinity Photo Identifier: com.seriflabs.affinityphoto Version: 1.8.2 (1.8.2) Code Type: X86-64 (Native) Parent Process: ??? Thanks
  2. Good Morning, after making basic adjustments in Develop Persona, I switch to Photo Persona. Says, at this point, I want to pause my work. What is the best practice: 1) exporting the file in TIFF format 16/bit 2) saving as default .APHOTO format? Also, sometimes, I prefer developing RAW files in Canon DPP because it handles better some kind of shots. Is it good practice to export in TIFF 16/bit (in DPP) before passing it to Affinity Photo? Thanks
  3. Hi, that's very strange! I don't have this problem. It just open up in the correct way (portrait or landscape) Maybe someone els can explain it Sorry
  4. Hi, If I crop/rotate/straight an image (after RAW develop or adjustments in Photo Persona)....and then I run one of the Nik Plugins, inside the Plugins windows the image is still showed as the original one (with our crop etc...) sometimes even with white areas where I cropped (see example) Can someone try it to understand if it's my problem or bug? Thanks
  5. Thanks! I have also noticed that if I change Document Colours Space to sRGB 16/bit, colours are displayed in the right way within Viveza I have also written to DxO support....I'll publish their response as soon as I got it
  6. Hi, I just installed successfully Nik Collection 2.5 All plugins seems to work fine, expect Viveza: when I lunch it, the image loaded display colours completely different from colours in AP In the attached image you can see that the photo, once loaded in Viveza, looks mostly green....while colours are different in AP working space I usually work with ProPhoto 16bit colour space If I change in Adobe RGB, things are bit better Anyone experiencing same issue? Thanks
  7. Hi all, I know that some operation in AP are destructive, so it is suggested to duplicate the layer before applying it. Is there a list or a quick way to understand if what I'm going to do is destructive or not? Thanks
  8. Hi all, I'm a new Affinity User. I'm really glad having switch to AP, very good application. Because the new DxO Nik release, I'm considering buying it version 2.5 (now compatible with AP) My question is: what is the suggested RAW workflow with Nik plug-ins? Do I need first to develop RAW files in Develop Persona and then switch to Photo Persona and from there use the Plug-ins? Or is better using Nik during developing the RAW files and, at the end, switch to Photo Persona? Thanks for any suggestion!
