  1. Ugh! Thanks Walt! I should have checked there first and know better. Trying to move too fast and the brain was left behind. Thanks so much!
  2. Hi! I didn't see anything out there about this, hopefully I didn't miss something. According to the manual (both beta and retail V2) selecting a layer before adding an adjustment should still create a clipping mask like it does in V1. This isn't happening. Even with a layer selected, it sets the adjustment layer above that layer and everything beneath and you have to manually clip it. Please see attached screen grab. Thanks! 3. Hi! When you try to select Bitmap as an option from the scroll wheel on the Fill Tool, nothing happens, even if you actively tap it. You have to use the arrows to back up then go back to Bitmap for the selection folder to pop up. Bitmap on Fill Tool.mov See video below. I'm on a 2020 iPad Pro 12.9 Current OS and on the current version of the beta.
  4. Hi! When in left handed mode, in all three iPad apps, the Edit Menu is clipped, even if the iPad is set to Default view in Settings (i.e. not zoomed) Normally if something gets clipped (for example certain icons when you have Display Zoom on), you can drag them in with your finger but you can't do that here. It just closes the entire window. I had someone else bring this up to me about Photo and Publisher as well. (on iPad, Display Zoom off, left handed mode, current beta version) The screen shot below is on the latest beta version of Designer, on an iPad Pro 12.9 I know we're only about 10% of the world's population, but lefties like full menus too ;) Thanks!!
  5. @Designer1 The same applies in iPad version as what @Old Bruce mentioned above, if that's what you're using . Use the Command Controller to select the Control key and you can get a straight line with the Knife tool in any degree. RPReplay_Final1670522803.mov
  6. When the dust settles, wondering if there is a way to make New Document Presets exportable as a condensed set, similar to palettes, assets and brushes? For example, I have exact presets created for every product I sell on Society6 and it would be cool to be able to quickly and easily share those presets with students or newsletter followers, so they can auto populate them on their machine. I know I can share templates, and do, but, in the case of the example I used above, that's a lot of templates to zip and share so I'm wondering if there is a more condensed way of doing it, in the form of sharing a "Preset Pack." Thanks! Tracey
  7. Yes, basic colors only. You can select a color used in a gradient but gradients as a whole can't be saved as global colors since they consist of more than one color; that was the case in V1 too. You can save them as regular swatches though.
  8. I think Wera might be referencing the fact that in V1 (and according to the Help section for V2, under "About Global Colors"), in the absence of a Document palette, Designer adds one automatically when "Add Global Color" is selected and the first global color is created. Right now, in V2, Global color is completely grayed out until you manually add a document palette. In V1, it's not. Yes, you can add one yourself, and it works as it's supposed to. Based on how V1 worked, and how V2 is supposed to work according to the guide, it shouldn't be grayed out, like in Wera's example above. Other than that bit though, it works fine once the document palette is in place.
  9. Experiencing this on all three iPad apps, not just Designer. Can't tap Auto and can't tap, or drag, to change the Pixel value manually.
  10. Good, glad that worked. I put it out there as a suggestion to Serif; hopefully it's something that can be updated at some point. Display Zoom is important for a lot of us 🤓
  11. @transitdiagrams do you have Display Zoom on in your iPad Settings? It messes with grids and artboards. If you do, and turn it off, the grid should stick where it's supposed to.
  12. Hi- I noticed multiple bugs with the boolean operations noted here under MacOS but not under iPad, other than an issue with crashing. I'm experiencing this same issue but on the iPad, specifically the Add function creating a very large shape after one of the initial ones was rotated. Before I post a duplicate bug under that header, is the update going to cover fixing this on both MacOS and iPad? Thanks!
