  1. After posting, I decided to uninstall AF1.8 and reinstall 1.7.3. Issue is not resolved. Could this issue have to do with my Surface Pro 7? What can I do? I tried playing with exposure and gamma in 32P... Closest I can get to the correct image is setting gamma to about 2.1...
  2. I've seen this question/issue show up in a few other posts but there's either no solution or a solution that does not work for me. The image in the develop persona is too dark. It brightens up to normal once developed but it makes it very difficult to use the develop persona. Another clue is that the image is correct in the navigator window (before and after being developed). My settings in 32P seem to be default. This issue isn't file specific... Same issue with all my .NEF files. This is a new issue for me. I'm not sure if it's since v1.8 upgrade or since I change my SP4 to SP7 (hard to imagine it's a device issue given that the navigator window shows the correct brightness/exposure. Please help.
  3. I've been experiencing the same issue described above since I upgraded to v1.8. I found a handful of threads that discussed this issue but this one seemed to be the only one with an actual solution. I followed the instructions above but that sadly did not solve my issue. A couple things to note: 1. this isn't file specific; the issue is there for all my .NEF files. 2. This issue also coincides with a new Surface 7, but it's hard for me to understand how this could be an issue with the surface, given that like others, the preview in the navigation window is of the correct brightness/exposure. 3. My 32P settings are as they should be. I appreciate any help I can get - thanks.
