  1. I also see Affinity Designer on WINE to be a very happy middle ground if tested and indirectly (not officially is even fine as long as they do it in the backroom and don't tell anyone in order to prevent support requests and complaints of bugs) supported and made to work. I think a lot of people would be more than fine with this path. I know far too many people who have some more limited machines that are working wonderfully with Linux, but find it a burden and sometimes impossible to deal with or live with Windows that would like to use Linux to work with the Affinity line of software products. I use a Mac and it's fantastic, but a lot of people are frustrated with Apple abandoning older (and very powerful) systems who are moving to Linux since they cannot at all tolerate Windows. Serif, please see this highly voted item: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=39311 And please dedicate a silent NDA bound developer to the WINE cause.
  2. Affinity/Serif is making a mistake currently with the way Designer, Photo and Publisher are being published as three separate apps. I'm finding there are feature disparities between each app and will make the same argument I did to Adobe before they went into the toilet: Integrate design (vector), bitmap and page layout all into a single app. All of these functions are frequently used together and in order to keep separate or additional income you can simply have a purchase for each one in the app so that it's just a matter of adding functionality as you want it. The cohesion and predictability are pinnacle and keeping them separate with different maintenance cycles is unnecessary and wasteful. Adobe had a killer app at one point after the Macromedia acquisition: Fireworks. Their decisions to kill Fireworks and push Photoshop and Illustrator vs integrating all THREE into a single app was a death blow and here we are - wanting a better solution with Affinity*.
  3. Unfortunately this has nothing to do with my workflow. I'm not talking about sharing betwixt applications, but rather sharing and managing files. For example, dropping a design into another folder in Finder, into CloudApp or into our team chat and emails is what I'm looking for. Yes, I'm shocked this has been overlooked.
  4. To function more like macOS applications Affinity Designer needs to have an icon present for drag-and-drop functionality like other macOS applications associated with the filename:
  5. I sometimes need to transform square / rectangular images arbitrarily (ie, in a trapezoidal style transformation). I can't seem to find this functionality in Designer... Am I missing this or is this functionality not available?
