  1. I’ve requested a refund from Apple, I brought the licence from them and they have failed to provide the service I have paid for so as far as I’m concerned they have breached the contract. If they refuse the refund I’ll get the credit card company to claw it back. Being the customer the law is on your side.
  2. All these problems that people are experiencing are not doing Affinity’s reputation any good at all which is a real shame because the software is fantastic. If they fixed the problem or at least answered peoples concerns it would help. Such a shambles, it’s a real shame UPDATE: Apple are/have refunded me for my purchase. I tried making the purchase on their website using PayPal and although I got as far as authorising the payment in the card app the payment still isn't showing up. Ive now reached the point where I cant be dealing with all this stress anymore. Time to call it a day with Affinity I think. FURTHER UPDATE: I enjoyed using Affinity so much that I thought I’d give it one more try.. I tried using PayPal cos that seems to be the only way to use a Mastercard, this time I used my Mac instead of my phone or iPad and the purchase went through ok this time.. so I’ve collected all the toys I threw out of my pram and am chilled again.. my love of Affinity has been restored XX
  3. i've found a way around this issue. I purchased the universal licence on my ipad instead so it was purchased 'through apple'.. so now im just waiting for the apps to update and for serif to send me my 'keys' Its been a bit of a stressful experience but i believe the software to be great value for money and just had to be done. Anyone got any idea how long it take to receive the activation keys ? UPDATE: this workaround didn’t work either. My card says pending and Apple emailed to say I had purchased the upgrade but still no licences..I’ve requested a refund from Apple (although they ain’t going to refund something they haven’t actually received so hopefully the card payment will just get cancelled) so now I don’t know whether to just try again on affinity’s website using PayPal or just forget it and stick with V1
  4. Hi, Is there a problem with your payment system accepting mastercard ? it keeps telling me to try a different card, I know there is no problem with the card im using.
