  1. I am in the process of editing a magazine and have received a contribution with text submitted via Microsoft Word which contains a large number of foot notes which do not copy across when doing a simple copy and paste into Affinity Publisher. I would have thought that the ability to manage foot notes would be a fairly standard feature of an otherwise excellent software package. Are there any plans by Serif to include this in a future update? Mike Turpin Editor Council for British Archaeology - Yorkshire Forum Magazine.
  2. I have just downloaded the free macros with Photo 1.8 and am trying to import them into the macro panel. When I click on Import it takes me to Windows file explorer which is set to show *.macro files. I have typed the jr-channel.macros name into the file name box and clicked on open but nothing seems to happen. Any ideas?
  3. Brilliant, I will now go through a new workflow and see if there are any problems Many thanks.
  4. Hello Seneca You say specify the number of pages and where to put them, I was using 'Place' which doesn't ask the questions. Please, where is the import option which you are apparently using?
  5. I have recently purchased the stable version of Affinity Publisher and overall am very impressed. However I would really like to merge Affinity Publisher files. I want to share the compilation of separate articles and then bring them together into one publication ready for converting to a pdf for web distribution. I have been advised that the 1.8 beta will do this but when I tried using 'Place' for the second file it only seems to bring in one page (the last?). Am I doing something wrong or is this something to sort?
  6. By next update are you referring to the 1.8 beta? I have downloaded that and it only seems to bring in one page(last?) of the second file. Is this because feature not completed yet or am I doing it wrong?
  7. I have been evaluating the trial version and am sufficiently impressed to purchase a copy. Is it possible to take two separate Affinity publisher files and merge them into one file. I want to share the compositing of different articles and then bring them together in one magazine publication.
