+ agree with the OP a fluid rotation tool like [R] in Photoshop is more intuitive than 15˚ increments assigned to a key for day to day. My workflow example being batch retouching where making an ergonomically comfortable up stroke / downstroke with an Intuos tablet is essential. This feature addition alone could bring me to using Affinity full time : )
