Any idea if this has been addressed? This is driving me insane, and I can’t seem to find a way to set a visible outline for the eraser size.

How have they not rectified this yet?! This has been an issue since at least 2018 based on other threads in this forum. I just downloaded the iPad version and have to do a lot of select > deleting and this is seriously a bad enough flaw to send me back to Adobe. So frustrated.

I agree, while there are some workarounds, the shear tool itself leaves a lot to be desired. I'm constantly frustrated that moving the cursor a tiny fraction of a mm results in a huge change, it's basically impossible to work with any level of precision. Wish they would rethink it a bit!

I'm having trouble getting the same kind of sharpness when resizing pixel art downwards (to a smaller size) that I used to get with PS. I did some research the general consensus was to use the 'nearest neighbour' setting in 'resize document'. While it's better than the default, it's still not great. PS resize: Affinity resize with 'nearest neighbour': Clearly a lot blurrier. Has anyone figured out how to do this properly? It's really frustrating me.
