Few years ago we were talking about it here. The solution seems to be still about the same. But occasionally it is not working as expected. When I do the search and fix it for each individual occurrence at a time it works well. But If I do the mass replacement, it seems to pick the first found result of the regex, and than use it to replace all other occurrences. So I got the no breaking space correctly, but all the prepositions are the same. Anyone have seen similar behaviour?

The style picker will help in certain scenarios, thanks for that. But is there a way for a really simple drag&drop of the colour from the colour pallet? Example: I've a document with some objects. I paste in a new vector object from another document with a previously unused colour. I want to use this colour on the other objects (but only the fill colour, not any other properties, so can't use the style picker). I select the new object I see the colour I want in the fill colour circle, but how can I easily apply it on other objects? Currently I found two ways. First is to use the colour picker tool next to the fill colour circle to sample the colour from the circle and then I can use it. The second is a bit more convoluted as it is using the `Add current fill to palette` button (but that requires few more steps and it is not always required. Would it be possible to let me drag & drop the colour from the colour fill circle to the object I need?

Hi @Sean P, Thanks for the solution. As I'm currently on slower connection I just tried to deleted the files and folder mentioned in Step 3, to avoid re-downloading all the apps. And it worked just fine.

Hi, I'm facing the exact same issue as SillyWalk. I've purchased the Universal License through AppStore (CZ). None from the apps is showing any option to Register. I already do have my Affinity account (for few years) and do not want to create a new one. I've completely restarted my Mac with no avail. If I open all the apps and click on Continue Trial, the Account tab is only displaying me the option to BUY NOW. The Restore Purchase link on the previous screen is not doing anything, although I'm able to focus it using keyboard. Any help highly appreciated.

Thank you both for answers. I see the logic behind open "whichever loads faster first", the percieved speed of the application would be much better. But the UX of that approach is not. One more usecase to the previous one. I've opened a lots of smaller images I create one bigger composition, using these images, on which I'm working for long time. I quit the app while the composition is in focus (e.g. I need to restart because of updates etc.) I open the app again I would expect the last focused document (my mine work) will show, but instead I will get one of the smaller source image. I agree it is not a bug, it is not a big deal, but it is a little annoyance. Thanks a lot for consideration with your team.

As an Affinity Photo user I would like to see the image I'm opening with contextual link when the program starts. Steps to reproduce In the preferences enable "Reopen document(s) on startup" Open few documents Quit the program without closing/saving the documents In Finder locate another document/photo Open it in Affinity Photo using the contextual menu I would expect this document will get focus, but almost everytime some of the "reopened" documents are focused. It happens much more regularly if I try to open multiple documents at once. Its not a big issue, but it is sometimes confusing.

I can only encourage you to do it. This zooming issue is the only annoyance I've found so far. It is annoying, big time, but still I don't regret the change. To clarify: I've used Adobe until CS5, so my comparison is probably skewed.

Hi Meb, Thank you for quick reply. I tried to disable all extra extension I'm using, which may even remotely interfere with shortcuts, but it is still the same. I've capture my screen showing what is happening with different zooming techniques. Few notes for the video: brand new document (colour bars added to easily see the jumping) if there is only one page, no jumping occurred if I add few pages, the document shifting started (actually it is not only down, but sometimes it shift to side as well – didn't find the pattern in that yet. dragging left and right is zooming correctly using the zoom tool from the toolbar is ok as well I've also attached the demo file in case you can see something in it. Hi, I'm using Publisher for few weeks only, but I'm constantly struggling with one feature. If I press [Space] + [Command] the Zoom tool (+) is temporarily used even if I'm using another tool. If I click the mouse it zooms in on the selected location. If I add [Alt] to the combination ([Space] + [Command] + [Alt]) the Zoom tool (-) appears. If I click the mouse it zooms out, but the document jumps some amount down. I was searching throughout the preferences, but did not find any related settings. If I choose the the Zoom tool directly from the tool bar, it behaves correctly both for plus and minus. Please let me know if you need any more information. Petr

I've tried to use a technique I was using in InDesign for 10+ years and its working. In Find field use regular expression (this one is set-up for Czech language, but should be fairly easy to update for others): (\<[szkvaiouSZKVAIOU])[ ] Then in the Replace with use: $1 That will use any result from the regex. Add anything before or after that. In my case I'm adding the Non Breaking Space after. See attached screenshot. $1[Non Breaking Space] Sadly this Find and Replace cannot be saved as a preset now.
