  1. @N.P.M. Thank you. All files are stored locally. Have attached latest crash report. Could you tell me why Publisher is not launching. @NathanC Latest crash report is attached. Affinity Publisher Crash Report 2022 09 23_3.rtf
  2. @NathanC Please help me clean install publisher. How can I remove all old files on system related to Affinity publisher and install it clean.
  3. @NathanCWhere should I move the shared property files to?
  4. @NathanC Checked for app running in background. Ran clean on iMac. Attaching crash report. The app however opened just one time. I created a file. Saved it and exported a PDF. And quit the app. Tried to relaunch. It continued to failing to launch. However at the time it launched successfully I got a prompt front the app that said. SELECT THE FOLDER CONTAINING THE SHARED PROPERTY COLLECTION FILES. and I selected the Affinity iCloud folder. Hope this helps. Affinity Publisher Crash Report 2022 09 23_1.rtf
  5. @NathanC Publisher does not crash under the new user on my iMac. But when I try opening publisher on the original user, it crashes immediately upon launch. I cannot do any action on it. Since I have other apps and files that I use for design workflow, I would prefer working on this user. Since Its not launching on this user I am assuming there is some residual corrupt file, object or code that is still there inspite of doing factory reset, by using ctrl launch. I have other softwares I use in work flow like image library and other assets, which I cannot access while on the new user. Which makes it inconvenient. Also I would like to get to the source of this problem. Sharing a screen recording of what's happening. 1935581795_ScreenRecording2022-09-22at5_41_29PM.mov.zip
  6. @NathanC Publisher crashed again. And this time a crash report was generated. This is after doing all the above changes you suggested. This crash log is from the original user, not the guest account created. Sharing the crash report here. Let me know what should my next step be. Thank you. Affinity Publisher Crash Report 2022 09 22_1.rtf
  7. @NathanC I followed steps 1-3, renamed folder to old, relaunched, its still crashes. Logged into a different user on the same system, and there Publisher launched and I am able to open the last file I was working on. Moved around some assets, and looked like the stable version I was using before the crash started happening. There has been no new software updates or hardware. I shutdown the machine at night and logged in the morning to continue the project and the crash happened. This is a single user machine. So to answer your last question, as far as I know there has been no updates. Unless apple does some updating in the background which I don't know how to find. Usually I get a prompt about updates. That didn't happen yesterday. What could be the next step to continue working in under this user.
  8. @NathanC I tried launching after running the above command on terminal. Its still crashing. Publisher was working perfectly well till yesterday. And I have not done anything on this system. Its beyond my understanding as to how these settings would break in a way that it needs fixing. Also I don't know coding, hoping these changes pertain to Affinity Publisher alone, and is not going to affect my other softwares. And I use publisher for work, making my presentations, and I am in the middle of running a campaign. I was hope this gets resolved as publisher is part of work pipeline. Affinity Publisher has not generated a crash log for last few crashes, so I don't have anything new to share as progress, other than say its still not launching. What should I do next? The default interactive shell is now zsh. To update your account to use zsh, please run `chsh -s /bin/zsh`. For more details, please visit https://support.apple.com/kb/HT208050.
  9. @NathanC ran the command you gave above successfully. Publisher continued to crash again. Tried launching it multiple times. It goes into an unresponsive state and then quits without going beyond the start up screen.
  10. @NathanC Input the command you gave into terminal - and hit enter /Library/Containers/com.seriflabs.affinitypublisher/Data/Library/Preferences/com.seriflabs.affinitypublisher.plist: Permission denied I get this response. Loaded affinity and it crashed again. Attaching report below. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times. also deleted affinity publisher iCloud folder with all files and created an empty folder. Nothing seems to be working, Affinity Publisher Crash Report 2022 09 21_3.rtf
  11. I did that. And its not working. Attaching the crash report. What next step do you suggest? @NathanC Affinity Publisher Crash Report 2022 09 21_2.rtf
  12. @NathanC I searched ~/Library/Application Support/ - But did not find a folder called Affinity Publisher in it. What should I do next? Should I create a folder called affinity publisher?
  13. Affinity Publisher Crash Report 2022 09 21.rtf Affinity Publisher refuses to launch, it is repeatedly crashing. I tried troubleshooting based on inputs from this forum Uninstalled app and reinstalled app from App Store. Cleared cache and reset to factory setting by pressing cltr on launch. But still this has not resolved the problem. I am in the middle of an important project and the files are in affinity. Hope I can get the app to work soon. This is the machine - iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015), Processor - 3.2 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5. macOS Monterey version 12.6 Attaching below the latest crash report
