I work with Pantone colors in Affinity. Without these colors it would be very difficult for me to find the right colors. I will definitely not pay an extra fee for colors.

I can export only one artboard or the whole document, i.e. all artboards. So how can I export two selected artboard so that these two pages are in one PDF?

Is it possible to export the PSD from Affinity Designer and keep text as text? Unfortunately, the export rasterizes the text.

@NathanC I have uninstalled KB5017271, now Affinity Designer works fine again. However, it is not a permanent solution. For security reasons, all updates must always be installed by Microsoft. So Affinity Team has to find a solution and improve Affinity Designer!

I don't have this update, I don't see any.

Uninstalling Windows 11 updates is not a solution! It can lead to security and other problems with Windows 11.

Hello Callum, so I only see registered apps on the Serif website if I am logged in to the respective app? Otherwise not.

I have registered Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher and Affinity Photo. After I log out of the app, my registered ones disappear from my Serif account. What is the reason? Is this a technical bug?

Why then the Black Point compensation function?

Black Point compensation does not work! The CMYK 0 0 0 100 should be absolute black. However, this is not the case. One sees rather a dark gray.

I assume that Affinity 2.0 will be released in September or October. From a marketing point of view, it is difficult to imagine that no new version with new functions will be released in 2022. Unless the customers who have already bought the software and are waiting for improvements and new features are not that important to Serif.

It would be very practical to be able to insert the preset sizes such as A5, A4, A3, A2, etc. while working. You can actually insert an A2 artboard manually, but you have to know the height and width first. This is very cumbersome and time-consuming.

If I want to insert an A2 size artboard while working, is there no such option? I don't see a preset size.

Why is it possible to insert ready-made sizes for IPAD, IPhone as Artboard, but not DIN A4, DIN A3, DIN A2, etc. ? That's not exactly convenient. One need prefabricated DIN large.

@debraspicherIf you have suggestions on how to improve export quality of PNG, that would be really helpful. I've tried several settings, unfortunately I don't see any way to achieve export quality with smooth outlines like Illustrator. Incidentally, the font outlines in Affinity Designer are not rendered as smoothly as in Illustrator.

Affinity Designer's strengths lie in the pen. You can really draw what you want very comfortably in Affinity Designer. The weaknesses lie in the export quality of PNG, which does not meet professional requirements. This is a big problem when fine lines and round shapes, typography are exported pixelated and not smooth enough. Hopefully the export quality and the anti-aliasing function will be improved in Affinity 2.0. The subscription model is out of the question for me!

Significant improvements and new practical functions must be released with version 2.0 for it to be worth buying the new version. It is important that the export quality of PNG and JPG is improved! However, everyone should decide for themselves whether to buy new software version or not.

@Patrick Connor I bought Affinity Designer, Affinity Publisher and Affinity Photo from Microsoft Store. I expect all future updates to have been delivered to me from Microsoft Store!

I have found that if one disables OpenGL, the performance of Affninty Photo is better.
