I have already added an Emoji symbol in my question so I clearly know how to do that. I mean the Emoji symbols available under 'Special Characters' in Affinity. I add them in a character string but they don't appear as other symbols do.

How does one add Emoji symbols? (e.g. :P ). I have tried adding them to text strings like the other special characters but with no luck
