  1. Designer v2 MacOS Create a textframe with text apply a color gradient to the textframe copy new text into the textframe The changed text will not have the color gradient applied. One must edit the color gradient in order for it to be applied. This bug does not occur when writing with the keyboard, only when copying new text into the textframe!
  2. Explanation: I set up my workspace by arranging windows etc. Then changed the software language and restarted the software by accepting the restart prompt. Then the changes to the workspace were not saved. Step-by-step: 1) Go to Window and add a tool (eg. Macros) that has not been visible. 2) Go to Edit / Preferences / General and change the language. 3) Restart Affinity when the prompt asks you to restart. Infos: This happened for Affinity Photo 2.0 & Affinity Designer 2.0 on Windows. Did not test Publisher but expect the same behaviour. It's not critical but annoying to everyone setting up their workspace when switching from version1 to version2.
  3. I figured it out. The slice is not aligned with the artboard (see screenshot1). Furthermore some slices are 1 pixel wider and taller than the artboard they belong to. But I never changed their size. I cannot remember an editing step which would lead to this misalignment. After some tries and preparing the file for the upload to this page, I figured out that the slice-area is not linked to the artboard. Meaning, if I create an artboard and then move it, it's slice is somewhere else: Am I handling the slices wrong? If nobody else is suffering this problem it must surely be me. export_problem.afdesign
  4. Thanks for the reply. I thought about this too and actively set the image size to be an integer value. The problem still persists. I will post an example as soon as possible
  5. When exporting artboards in export persona, random white border lines are added to the exported image. For example a 2px wide line at the top and a 1px wide line on the left border. When using the export in the design-persona and exporting single artboards, the lines do not appear. The artboards consist of a single Image (3000x3000px) with an overlaid symbol (which consist of some simple circles). Affinity ist updated to the newest version and the problem persists after a restart.
  6. I would love to assign my curves a stroke and later be able to change this specific stroke. Identical to global colours, where I am able to change the color and all objects using it are updated. Styles can be used to transfer a stroke to other curves but a Style cannot be changed after creating it.
  7. Affinity Photo crashes when I use Fill->Inpainting to fill a selection on a large image (panorama) System: MacBook (12inch Early 2016) macOS Catalina 10.15.2 Affinity Photo 1.7.3 Reproduce: Open image (I mostly edit panoramas 10'000x30'000pixels) Use lasso (L) to create selection Edit -> Fill -> Inpainting Crash I'm not absolutely certain but it feels like it crashes more often on large images and large selections than it does on smaller. For the above image (.jpg, 10000x30000) it crashes every time.
