[Dragging Edges?]

Great, its a brilliant programme, I'm loving more about it every day. Thanks also to the team for being so active on the forums.

[Drag colour to swatch]

Great program and I'm still exploring but it would be nice to be able to drag colours onto the swatch to add them rather than having to click to the colours tab, click the menu and choose add colour to swatch (could this not also be a added to the menu in the swatch tab?)

Hi Everyone,

Gary here. Recently purchased Affinity Designer and using it on my first project already! I've been a Graphic Designer for over 20 years-my first job using Corel Draw 3 and Pagemaker, then Quark. I'm a designer and illustrator but also dabble in 3D modelling and game dev. At my full time work, we moved over to Adobe when Quark was slow in supporting OS X. After playing around with Designer I have high hopes that this suite could finally allow me to go Adobe free at home! Looking forward to the release of Photo, hoping it will be a good replacement for photoshop, covering everything I need for texturing 3d models as well as the usual photo editing and design work.

I agree with this. Lock buttons next to visibility ticks on layers would be useful.

Hi Meb and thanks for the welcome and quick reply. Just need to retrain myself to stop trying to do that then! It would be a handy function to have though for speed.

Just bought Affinity Designer and am really pleased after an hour but wondered if there was a way to drag the edges between nodes instead of it turning  straight edge in to a curve when i try? I'm using the node tool assuming it would work similar to the white arrow in Illustrator.
